MACHINE LEARNING
( STANFORD UNIVERSITY )
An extensive and excellent course for beginners in machine learning. It covered supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms which include Linear Regression, Polynomial Regression, Logistic regression, KNN, SVM, ANNs. It also provides a real-life industrial problem exposure and ways to solve them. This includes ideas for handling underfitting, overfitting, dimensionality reduction using PCA and many more. The course was an excellent boost for me to start up with my ML career. Along with that, the MATLAB assignments with data-sets provided an opportunity to apply learnt skills.
TENSORFLOW FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, MACHINE LEARNING, AND DEEP LEARNING

After Machine Learning course being able to apply the concepts to real-life data sets need tools and skills. To accomplish this I completed the course of Machine Learning using Tensorflow, which covered Neural Network, CNNs implementation using Keras library and Tensorflow on MNIST datasets, real-time datasets and on Artificially created datasets too. Concepts related to image augmentation was also introduced in the module to make the system more dynamic.
ROBOTICS: ESTIMATION AND LEARNING
( UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA )
Teaching a machine to do a task in one of the most challenging and exciting tasks in Robotics. I believe analysing how a system understands its surrounding stimulus to learn, estimate and plan action can help us analyse how our own brain does the same task. So that we can decode the mysteries of the network functionalities. This course covered a complete learning model for a football-playing robot were assignments were based on Image segmentation, trajectory planning using Kalman filter, Mapping of Environment using LIDAR data and finally Localization and Mapping using particle filter. The course very precisely covered each aspect with assignments on real-time data.

BEST ALGORITHM AWARD
(KSHTIJ 2018)
KSHTIJ is a technical fest conducted by IIT Kharagpur where participants from all over India come to compete with each other in several robotics events. As a team of 3, we got the best algorithm award for making an ImageProcessing based lane follower bot. It included designing Image feedback-based controller for keeping the bot on the track and decision of turning and sharp turn was robust in nature. EVENT COORDINATOR
( DEATH RACE )
Death Race is a robotics event. It is a face-off competition were 2 robots compete with each other in a Robo-football match. In the next phase, they race across a rough path which includes water, sand, fire and many more hurdles to reach the end. This event was a huge success, more than 40 teams participated in the competition from all over India. I was the core coordinator of the event and handled everything starting from the problem statement, making the arena to announcing the winners of the event. It was a big challenge to manage but the outcomes were highly rewarding.

After Death Race This year I'm also organizing "DIGITIZER" which is a Computer-Vision based Robotics event. This is an over-head camera event where the bot has to complete several manoeuvring tasks based on Shape of objects and colours using the overhead camera. Currently, the Event is under arena construction phase

Social Service is something very close to my ultimate goal. we as engineers are responsible for contributing to the society for its development and welfare. I have actively participated in several champagnes and events for helping needy and underprivileged students. I have participated in cloth collection drives, fund regeneration activities like organizing fun-events, sold hand-made valentine cards and several other activities as well.
